New Releases - December 2025

Today is Bandcamp Friday!

That means Bandcamp waives the revenue share and artists get 100% of sales. It’s a perfect day to pick up records and merch. Support indie music!

Spirit Hotel - Rêve

We’ve been hooked on Spirit Hotel since we first encountered their music a while back. Now the band has announced their latest 7-track project Rêve. On its singles “Moon Eyes” and “Perfume” mysterious layers permeate their shoegaze and goth influenced sound.

Genres: alternative, goth, indie, shoegaze

Cherished - S/T

We haven’t heard this in its entirety (it’s officially out tomorrow) but based on “Split End” the album’s first and only single thus far, this is going to rip! The Denver post-punk band is dropping their self-titled album on black and purple vinyl.

Genres: indie rock, post-punk, shoegaze

Local Weatherman - Right One

New York slacker rock/power pop act Local Weatherman get into their feels on their upcoming EP Right One. Running guitars through leslie speakers and using latin percussion adds unexpected textures to their foundational sound of emo and punk. Pick it up on tape or CD via Karol Records

Phantom Wave - Echoes Unknown

Brooklyn’s Phantom Wave – who opens up our compilation – creates lush soundscapes. From Shore Drive Records: Blending nostalgic fuzz with percussive clarity and multilayered textures, Phantom Wave utilizes dynamic energies and depth to culminate in a sound that pushes the boundaries of the genre.

Genres: alternative, dream pop, indie-rock, post-rock, psychedelic shoegaze

Monica Bang - We’re Not Safe

Monica Bang has been a mainstay in New York’s live music scene for some time. In November, they released their debut EP We’re Not Safe. On songs like “Sport” and “We’re Not Safe” the band delivers with force, pushing their way out from the pit and into our ears.

“hope it makes you feel like a winner.” - Monica Bang

Genres: diy, punk, high energy, queer rock
