Damnage, the alt-punk act from Los Angeles, shares their latest performance video for “Pressure.” The song was released back in January and the first since their 2025 self-titled debut album. The track taps into the group’s core: it’s anthemic and dynamic, swaying between rapid fire verses and a melodic chorus. Moreso, it’s an exercise in self-examination and the band’s determination to move forward. The video is just as explosive, capturing the raw and visceral energy of the project.
The band was formed in 2019 by Jonny Goood and Tim Stewart (TheBandKnives, 4th Avenue Jones). Both had the opportunity to play on global stages backing some of the biggest pop stars. After backing Lady Gaga, Goood decided to fully commit to his own project Damnage.
As Goood says, Damnage was born out of "both being damaged humans." He expands, “We’ve been through hell and back and then back in hell in our own way. And this band is expressive of that. The heartbreak, trials and tribulations, the joyful experiences and not so joyful experiences in life. This is the place for us to lay the weight of the world on the floor and set it on fire."
