How do you wind down after a late night of debauchery? You do as LA garage rock act Los Frankies does, per their latest single “Gunna Wanna.”
“‘Gunna Wanna’” is a love song to the ever-faithful Mary Jane,” says frontman Frankie Salazar. “After long rock and roll nights and sun-baked afternoons, it drifts in as a green reprieve — a slow, soulful meditation on the herbal blessing from the gods.”
“Hard driving and locked in, it’s a track for the punks and dread heads alike. Go on. Give it a try. The first time’s free. You’re gunna wanna. Trust me."
This is the third single off the band’s upcoming album, D.E.D. City, and again, Los Frankies deliver. The video sees Salazar and guitarist/vocalist Frankie Clarke chewing gum and enticing us. You can't fake this type of swagger.
D.E.D. City is out on March 6, 2026.

Spirit Hotel's debut Rêve is an examination of the mind. It’s vivid, disorienting, and hard to shake. Fronted by Leila May Hauck, the record moves between haunting and harmonious, mirroring Hauck's own fascination with dreams, memory, and the unreliable narrator within all of us. We sat down with Leila to talk about turning visions into songs, the eerie pull of the Farfisa organ, daily creative rituals, and what it means to make music from a place you're not sure you can fully trust.
