Today we are proud to announce our new signing Analog Dream.

Since forming, Analog Dream has released two EPs and several singles. Their work as a duo–Jorge Sandoval and Rich Cannon–along with those early tracks centered indie rock guitars over an electronic backdrop. After years of writing, recording and collaborating as a 5-piece band, the San Francisco project is back. Their new sound is deliberately guitar-heavy, shoegaze-influenced and colored by atmospheric synths.

Get to know brightmoon

brightmoon, a husband and wife alt-rock shoegaze duo based out of Long Beach, California, released their debut EP after two decades of musical collaboration. The couple, Becca Popkin and Billy Mohler were founding members of War Tapes, a rock band that toured with iconic acts like The Smashing Pumpkins and Tiger Army. In our profile, Popkin shares the inspiration behind the duo’s name, transitioning from being in a band to a duo, and the future of brightmoon and their other projects.

6 Things W/ Gondos

On June 3rd, psychedelic rock band Gondos released their third record, Anatomy of a Hornet’s Nest. Influenced by Sex Pistols and Sonic Youth, their sound is inspired by a mix of early garage-rock and punk. Lead singer Aidan Trueheart Case discusses recording the album on tape, managing emotions, and even discloses his personal conspiracy theories.

Analog Dream finds strength after betrayal on “Velvet Knives”

On their new single "Velvet Knives," Analog Dream turns betrayal into a power shift, flipping the narrator from victim to the one in control. The lyrical shift is carried by a sonic push and pull between heavy guitars and drums. This is the band's third single off their newly announced EP The Shape Of Us, out August 20 on Soundvsystem Records.
