BALACLAVA - WHAT A REGULAR DAY

When BALACLAVA’s Jonathan Dylan Joyce took on the challenge of writing and recording a song a day in August 2023, it led to the creation of the band’s next album. “In response to that limitation, each track became the expression of an exact moment in time” Joyce says. “That very day. How I was feeling, what was on my mind, the conversations I had, the food I ate, the movies I watched, the music I was listening to, the smells I experienced, the job I came home from, the hangover I had, the mania I was feeling… it was all captured uniquely in each song.” The first taste of MONEY GLITCH, is their new single “What A Regular Day”.

Weather Happy - Day Storm

UK alt-rock duo Weather Happy have released the sonically heavy “Day Storm.” As band member Holly Carter explains, “'Day Storm' is written about my past battles with OCD. How at one point my house felt like a friend protecting me from the contaminated dangers outside and offering routine and predictability but how quickly those feelings shifted to feeling suffocated. We wanted to go with some heavier distortion and driving drums for this song to create an intensity.” Their upcoming EP Moth is out 10/30 via Easy Does it Records.

Baby Waves - The Scene Is Changing

“You can spend your entire life on the outside, feeling like you’ll never belong, and even if you do find “the scene” for a moment in time, you can spend the rest of your life jaded or living in the past,” shares Baby Waves band member book NOT brooke. “I think it matters to honor that cycle for what it is.” Their latest track “The Scene Is Changing” taps into the evolving nature of a creative environment. “When we wrote this song, it felt like a character study, but now it rings truer than ever, and it makes me emotional every time. It feels like an ode to the ever-changing Nashville DIY scene.”

Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! - Blurred

Italian shoegazers Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! have announced their new album Dissolve Here. On the first single, guitarist/vocalist Diego Masciotti shares, “‘Blurred’ was written to capture that precise moment where overstimulation turns into complete sensory anesthesia.” Dissolve Here is slated for a January 2027 release.

Magic Wands - Guardians

The brain can certainly make things fuzzy. “This is a song about looking back on a time in your life that doesn’t feel real anymore, even though it really happened,” says Magic Wands on their new single “Guardians.” This is the second single from the LA dream pop band’s upcoming album Sun Kiss, which will be released early 2027 via Metropolis Records.
