False Flowers - Secret Futures
False Flowers has released a new two-song 7-inch, "Secret Futures" b/w a cover of Adam and the Ants' "Beat My Guest," via Strange Club Records. Guitarist Brian Hanover wrote the lead track around the small, meaningless things that end up eating time better spent on what matters. Check out the band’s self-produced video.
she's green - locket
Minneapolis’ she's green have released their new EP swallowtail via Photo Finish Records, along with a music video for "locket." "'Locket' is about the people we try to reach but can't—the ones who keep their hearts closed off, even when part of them might long to," says the band’s vocalist Zofia Smith. The band will be touring the UK later this summer.
atmos bloom - It’s Enough
London duo atmos bloom have shared "It's Enough," the latest single from their upcoming album Everythingness "'It's Enough' explores feelings around being in the shadow of someone, co-dependence contrasted with feeling suffocated," the band shares. "It explores themes of soft power and being enough for others’ demands and expectations.” Everythingness is out July 24 via Spirit Goth.
TVOD - Wet Brain
New York City's TVOD is back with "Wet Brain," the second single off The Farm, out October 16 via Mothland & Get Better Records. Are we friends? Am I heartbroken? Is this thing on? We don’t know but those are all good questions that TVOD seems to explore on their latest banger. The Farm is already shaping up to be one of our most anticipated releases of the year.
Riley Marsh - Maybe It’s The Rain
Singer-songwriter Riley Marsh has released "Maybe It's the Rain," a song about moving through hard times. "I wrote this song about a close friend who was going through a rough patch," Marsh shares. "The 'rain' in the song represents the things they were struggling with and how it can take over. It's the most honest and open music I've ever written."
